The story
This 1960s Seiko was less damaged more completely dirty. There were no obvious areas to try and design for as the whole dial was affected. The idea here was to create a subtle but realistic impression that the watch was so dirty that a fly had somehow made it's way under the crystal to scavenge on the surface of the dial.
The goal for this watch is to catch the eye of another person to draw their curiosity and attention, and was inspired by the use of flie stickers in the toilets at Amsterdam airport as a technique for influencing behaviours.
